The Special Parent’s Handbook

I attended the DSPL5 Conference today which was a talk about reducing violent behaviour in children with additional needs by Yvonne Newbold.

It was very informative and Yvonne told us about what it was like to parent a very special boy who was liable to be violent, her initial struggle with Education, Health and Social Care Partnerships and how she kept her other children safe.

I was so inspired by her story I bought her book. There are also various Facebook groups that parents and professionals can join to get help and support with SEND VCB children.
